Dr. Philip G. Altbach
Dr. Altbach holds the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D degrees from the University of Chicago. He has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the State University of New York at Buffalo, and was a post-doctoral fellow and lecturer on education at Harvard University. He is chairperson of the International Advisory Council of the Graduate School of Education at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a member of the International Advisory Committee of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia, and is a Guest Professor at the Institute of Higher Education at Peking University in the Peoples Republic of China.
He has been a visiting professor at Stanford University, the Institut de Sciences Politique in Paris, and at the University of Bombay in India. Dr. Altbach has been a Fulbright scholar in India, Malaysia and Singapore. He has had awards from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), has been Orwell Fellow at the University of Hong Kong, and a senior scholar of the Taiwan Government.
Philip G. Altbach is Research Professor and founding director of the Center for International Higher Education in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. From 1995 to 2013, he was the J. Donald Monan, SJ University Professor at Boston College. He was the 2004-2006 Distinguished Scholar Leader for the New Century Scholars initiative of the Fulbright program. He has been a senior associate of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and served as editor of the Review of Higher Education, Comparative Education Review, and as an editor of Educational Policy.
He is author of Turmoil and Transition: The International Imperative in Higher Education, Comparative Higher Education, Student Politics in America, and other books. He coedited the International Handbook of Higher Education. His most recent books are (with Jamil Salmi) The Road to Academic Excellence: The Making of World-Class Research Universities, Leadership for World-Class Universities: Challenges for Developing Countries, and (with Jorge Balan) World Class Worldwide: Transforming Research Universities in Asia and Latin America.

President of the National Council of Evaluation and Accreditation (CNEA) of Nicaragua. She has been Vice President of the Central American Agency of Postgraduates (ACAP), and Vice President of the Central American Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CCA). She is a professor at the National University of Engineering of Nicaragua.
Dra. Melita Kovacevic
University of Zagreb, Croacia
President of the Director’s Commission of the Council of Doctoral Studies of the Association of European Universities (EUA-CDE). Vice President of Research and Technology (2006-2014) of University of Zagreb, Croatia. Director of the Laboratory on Psycholinguistics and of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program “Cognitive and Language Neurosciences”. She has held research positions in different European and American universities. Dr. Kovacevic is a member of the Advisory Council of the Regional Benchmarking Platform of Cooperation in Higher Education and Research. She is a full processor in the Department of Language and Speech Pathology at the University of Zagreb.
Dr. Sergio Olavarrieta

El Dr. Sergio Olavarrieta es Vice Decano de la Facultad de Economía y Negocios y Profesor Asociado de Mercadeo y Estrategia de la Universidad de Chile. También es Presidente de la Asociación Chilena de Escuelas de Negocio (ASFAE-Chile). Ha sido instrumental en la acreditación de su Facultad ante acreditadoras como the Asociation to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) y la Association of MBAs (AMBA), impulsando la cultura y estrategia de investigación en su institución. El Dr. Olavarrieta ha guiado la Facultad de Economía y Negocios a ser reconocida como la Escuela de Negocios para más produce y disemina conocimiento en Latinoamérica a través de la constante publicación de investigaciones de sus profesores en Revistas ISI El Dr. Olavarrieta ha publicado en revistas académicas prestigiosas, tales como: el Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Strategic Marketing, International Marketing Review, Innovar, y participa en varias juntas editoriales incluyendo ACADEMIA, Innovar y Estudios Gerenciales. Dra. María Antonieta Rebeil Corella

Dr. Corella is founding director of the Center for Research on Applied Communication (CICA) of the School of Communication at the Universidad Anáhuac, Mexico North. She is a member of the National Council for the Teaching and Research of Communication Sciences (CONEICC). She chairs the group involced in the comprehensive research of the organizations in the Mexican Association of Communication Researchers (AMIC). Dr. Corella is also a member of the National Research System (SIN) of Mexico.
