Hi! I’m Carmen Castro, an English teacher born in Costa Rica with 30 years of teaching experience. I have a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree  in TESOL, and more recently, a certification in Virtual Education. Throughout the years, I’ve taught various levels and ages, but in the last years I’ve been more dedicated to adult courses. I try to make my classes dynamic, communicative, and fun. Although teaching grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation are very important, I think the leading part is communication. Being able to speak English is the main goal of every student. For that reason,  I’m constantly in search of fun communicative activities that engage students in their learning process. My greatest satisfaction is to see students feeling motivated and grateful for the goals achieved at the end of each course. I would be delighted to see you in my class!
