Hello, I am Maria Icaza.  I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for the past 15 years.  I was born and raised in the United States.  I have a Master’s degree in TESOL.  I love teaching all areas of English speaking, writing, pronunciation, and grammar. I teach adults and teenagers. 

For me, it is gratifying to see how much my students have learned and progressed in the language at the end of each course.  I love to engage them in learning using different dynamics and interaction techniques.  By doing this, they can put into practice the language they are learning and can get the most out of the class. Additionally, they can build their confidence in using the language.
