University of Louisville (UofL) is one of the oldest and most prestigious metropolitan universities in the United States. Founded in 1798, it is a state-supported Metropolitan University in Louisville, Kentucky, the 16th largest metropolitan area in the United States; UofL has enrolled more than 21,000 students from all states and the world in eleven schools and colleges. The University has been operating in Panama City, Republic of Panama, in collaboration with Quality Leadership University since 1998.
