LEVEL 1
Students will learn units 1-2 in the Everybody Up Starter book.
- Unit 1 focuses on the topic of Art class in which the students will learn to identify different classroom objects and school supplies. Students will also learn simple present statements with ‘have’ and information questions with ‘what’ and the verb ‘have’. Students will learn to ask someone’s name as well as answer with their own name. Finally, students will learn the letters and sounds of (Aa, Bb, Cc, and Dd).
- Unit 2 addresses the topic of toys and play. Students will learn vocabulary for toys and say what toys they have. Students will also learn simple present statements with ‘be’ and the information question ‘What is it?’. Students will learn greetings and farewells as well as the letters and sounds of (Ee, Ff, Gg)

LEVEL 2
Students will learn units 3-5 in the Everybody Up Starter book.
- Unit 3 focuses on the topic of colors. Students will learn the vocabulary for colors and simple present statements and questions with ‘what’. Students will learn social language to ask how someone is doing and they will learn the letters and sounds of (Hh, Ii, and Jj).
- Unit 4 addresses the topic of counting in which students will learn how to count 1-10. They will learn the contraction ‘Let’s count’ and the question ‘How many?’. Students will also learn to ask and tell their age as well as identify the letters and sounds of (Kk, Ll, and Mm).
- Unit 5 is about animals. Students will learn the vocabulary for both pets and farm animals, and then learn how to count them, using the plural -s. Students will learn to ask ‘How many (animals)?’ as well as how to politely ask for help. Students will also learn the letters and sounds for (Nn, Oo, and Pp).

- Unit 6 focuses on the topic of lunch in which students will learn vocabulary for common foods. Students will learn how to express their likes and dislikes as well as how to ask others if they like different foods. They will also learn expressions to be polite and the letters and sounds of (Qq, Rr, and Ss).
- Unit 7 addresses the topic of abilities. Students will learn vocabulary for common actions and say what they can and can’t do. Students will also learn to ask others what they can do and learn the letters and sounds of (Tt, Uu, Vv).
- Unit 8 is about the body in which students will learn vocabulary for their face as well as body parts and movements. They will continue to practice statements and questions with ‘can’ and learn social language to express concern. They will finish the alphabet, learning the letters and sounds of (Ww, Xx, Yy, and Zz).

Students will learn units 1-4 in the Everybody Up 1 book.
- Unit 1 is presented in the context of the first day of school in which students will learn vocabulary for school supplies and shapes. Students will learn to make simple present statements with the verb ‘be’ and questions with ‘what’. Students will also learn the definite articles ‘a/an’ and social language to ask how someone is doing.
- Unit 2 addresses the topic of art class. Students will learn vocabulary for art supplies and colors, and practice information questions with what. Students will also be introduced to the demonstrative pronoun ‘this’.
- Unit 3 is about a birthday party in which students will learn the numbers 1-12 as well as vocabulary for toys. Students will learn to ask questions with ‘how old’ and ‘how many’ and they will also learn the plural ‘-s’.
- Unit 4 focuses on the topic of home. Students will learn vocabulary for family and practice saying who is in their family using the demonstrative pronoun ‘this’. Students will also learn vocabulary for food and talk about what food they like.

- Unit 5 focuses on the topic of the park. Students will learn to talk about nature and animals as well as activities one can do at the park. Students will learn the order of sentences and how to use the modal verb ‘can/can’t’
- Unit 6 addresses the topic of the zoo, in which students will expand their knowledge of animals and abilities. Students will learn the definite article ‘the’ and prepositions of location ‘in, on, under’ as well as how to ask where something is.
- Unit 7 is about the body. Students will learn to identify body parts, including parts of the face, and they will be able to talk about healthy habits. Students will practice using the demonstrative pronouns ‘this’ and ‘these’ in both questions and statements.
- Unit 8 focuses on the topic of the toy store in which students are introduced to adjectives to describe toys. Students will learn the demonstrative pronouns ‘that’ and ‘those’ and compare them with ‘this’ and ‘these’. Finally the students will learn vocabulary for types of transportation.

- Unit 2 addresses the topic of jobs in town. Students learn job vocabulary and how to make affirmative and negative statements as well as yes/no questions with the verb ‘be’. Students will learn about playing safely and how to ask to borrow something. Students will also practice vocabulary about places in town and how to ask where a place is?
- Unit 3 is about things to eat in which students will learn vocabulary for common foods and how to say what foods they have. They will also learn to ask and answer what food they want as well as talk about food preferences.
- Unit 4 focuses on the topic of things to wear. Students will learn vocabulary for clothes and say what they are wearing using the present continuous. Students will also be able to ask others what clothes they are wearing as well as ask for help and say their phone number.

- Unit 5 focuses on the topic of things to do, in which students will learn some common action verbs. Students will practice present continuous statements and questions with the action verbs learned in the unit.
- Unit 6 addresses the topic of home. Students will learn vocabulary for rooms and common things found at home. Students will describe the location of items in a room using prepositional phrases and they will also practice the numbers 1-100.
- Unit 7 is about daily routines. Students will learn how to state the time of the day as well as talk about their daily routines using common verb phrases and words for meals. Students will also practice asking others about their daily routines.
- Unit 8 focuses on the topic of school, in which students will learn vocabulary for classes and school subjects. Students will practice the vocabulary while talking about their school schedules. Students will also learn vocabulary for countries and how to ask where someone is from?

- Unit 1 focuses on the topic of food in which they will learn vocabulary for common snacks and vegetables. Students will practice the vocabulary in statements and questions with ‘want’ and ‘need’ using the quantifiers ‘some’ and ‘any’.
- Unit 2 addresses the topic of ‘around town’. Students will learn vocabulary for places to go and things to do in their town. They will learn to ask and answer where places are, using prepositional phrases. Students will also practice the present continuous with prepositional phrases to say what they are doing at a place.
- Unit 3 is about occupations and what people do at their jobs. Students will learn to ask simple present questions about occupations and about what people do at their jobs. Students will learn how to ask the price of something through a story about shopping for a gift. Students will also learn vocabulary for common symptoms and illnesses.
- Unit 4 focuses on the topic of getting together with family. Students will learn vocabulary for family members, items found on the dinner table, and countries. Students will practice statements and questions with possessives as well as learn to ask how to do something.

- Unit 6 addresses the topic of chores. Students will be able to talk about the chores they do at home using prepositional phrases or adverbs of frequency.
- Unit 7 is about places to go in and around town. Students will practice questions about location with the past tense of ‘be’. Students will also learn vocabulary to talk about the weather.
- Unit 8 focuses on the topic of useful items. Students will learn vocabulary for school supplies, art supplies, and technology. Students will continue practicing questions and statements with the past tense of ‘be’.

- Unit 1 focuses on the topic of fun outdoors. Students will learn vocabulary for camping and sports as well as questions with ‘what’ and ‘do’. Students will also learn vocabulary expressions about safety and time clauses with when.
- Unit 2 addresses the topic of animals. Students will learn vocabulary for common land and sea animals, as well as insects. Students will practice comparing the animals using comparatives with ‘than’ and ‘as…as’. Students will learn to make questions with ‘which’ and the superlative, and questions with ‘how much/ how long’.
- Unit 3 is about appearance. Students will learn vocabulary for describing a person’s hair and words for accessories. Students will learn to make questions with ‘what’ and ‘which’ as well as practice comparisons to say something is the same with ‘as’.
- Unit 4 covers vocabulary for sports and activities. Students will learn to make simple past questions to ask what someone did in the past, and also answer the question using the simple past tense form of common regular verbs.

- Unit 5 focuses on the topic of ‘A day out’ in which students learn vocabulary for food and drink as well as activities to do out of the home. Students will learn to make statements with some common irregular verbs in the past, as well as simple past questions with ‘what’ and ‘when’.
- Unit 6 addresses the topic of being creative. Students will learn vocabulary expressions for the arts, types of art, and expressions for creating things. Students will practice simple present questions with ‘like’ and the ‘infinitive to’. Students will also learn to make statements with the preposition ’of’ as well as statements with the preposition ‘for’ with object pronouns.
- Unit 7 is about what students want to be when they grow up. Students will learn about different jobs and activities related to jobs. Students will be able to talk about what they want to do in the future for work, using future time expressions and ‘going to’. Students will also learn the expression for obligation/non obligation; ‘have to/ don’t have to’, to talk about what people are obligated to do for work.
- Unit 8 focuses on the topic of vacations. Students will learn vocabulary expressions for vacation activities, items needed for a trip, and types of transportation. Students will continue to practice the future tense with ‘going to’, as well as make questions in the future with ‘what’ and ‘how’.

Students will also learn vocabulary for feelings to talk about how they felt on their last trip, and practice questions in the simple past with ‘what’ and ‘how’.
- Unit 2 addresses the topic of camping. Students will learn expressions for activities in the woods and common camping activities. Students will learn the past continuous structure and practice questions and answers, as well as use the past continuous with the simple past. Students will also learn about plants while practicing questions with these/those.
- Unit 3 is about a class party in which students will learn to talk about planning and starting a party. Students will learn the future simple tense with ‘will’ in affirmative and negative statements, as well as questions.
- Unit 4 focuses on the topic of comparisons which is presented in the context of a visit in the amazon rainforests. Students will learn vocabulary for animals, biomes and other items. Students will practice the vocabulary by comparing them with the comparative and superlative forms.

- Unit 6 addresses the topic of making things such as baking, cooking, and craft projects. Students will learn quantities of ingredients, vocabulary for craft supplies, and practice questions with count/ non-count nouns.
- Unit 7 is about world travel in which students will learn different countries and say where they have been, using the present perfect tense. Students will learn vocabulary expressions for travel experiences, and practice them with the present perfect tense in questions and answers.
- Unit 8 focuses on the topic of computers. Students will learn various expressions for using computers, as well as types of energy sources. Students will expand their knowledge of the present perfect, using ‘already’, ‘just’, and ‘yet’, in both statements and questions.

Students will learn units 1-4 in the Everybody Up 6 book.
- Unit 1 focuses on the topic of getting around. Students will learn expressions for giving directions, as well as verb phrases with types of transportation. Students will practice giving and asking for directions, and practice the simple past to talk about what type of transportation they used to get somewhere.
- Unit 2 addresses the topic of family life, in which students will learn about responsibilities and privileges. Students will be able to talk about their responsibilities at home, using the expression of obligation ‘have to’. They will also be able to talk about their privileges using the modal verb ‘can’ as well as the conjunctions ‘but’ and ‘and’.
- Unit 3 is about more life experiences in order to practice the present perfect tense. Students will expand their knowledge of the present perfect using ‘for’ and a quantity of time. Students will also learn the present perfect progressive and talk about experiences using ‘since’ and a time expression.
- Unit 4 focuses on the topic of wants and needs, in which students will learn vocabulary for healthy habits. Students will practice the vocabulary in complex sentences with ‘because’, ‘before’, ‘after’, ‘while’, and ‘so’. Students will also practice questions with ‘why’, and ‘what happens’.

Students will learn units 5-8 in the Everybody Up 6 book.
- Unit 5 focuses on the topic of places around town. Students will be able to talk about the different places around their town, and learn to make statements using relative clauses with ‘who’. Students will also learn the structure for reported speech, and in the last lesson they will learn about the human body.
- Unit 6 addresses the topic of our planet and how to conserve it. Students will be able to explain ways to protect the planet and conserve resources. Students will learn how to use the zero, and first conditional, and complex sentences with ‘whenever’.
- Unit 7 is about achievements in the areas of the arts and engineering projects. Students will learn to make statements about the arts using the present passive voice. Students will then practice talking about famous engineering projects using the past passive voice.
- Unit 8 focuses on the topic of graduation day. Students will learn vocabulary related to the topic and focus on describing graduation day using -ed and -ing adjectives. Students will practice comparing present tense with past tense and future tense. Students will also review the present progressive, and learn to use the present perfect progressive, to describe what they are doing on graduation day.
