Located on the east side of the Miraflores Locks. During their visit students can visit the observation terraces and observe transiting vessels, or visit the museum and learn about the history of the construction, the Importance of water and conserving the environment they can experience how the canal operates and learn its importance to the world trade. Panama Canal Expansion tour
The largest project since the original construction of the canal is the construction of a new set of locks to allow the transit of Post-Panamax vessels.
